天保11年(1840)初秋、複数書肆の連名で刊行された義太夫節の教則本。先に成立していた、『音曲鼻けぬき』(寛政9年・1797初版)、『浄瑠璃秘曲抄』(寛延元年・1748初版)、『音曲語様/口授秘伝 改正両節弁大全』(序題。天明8年・1788初版『音曲両節弁』の文化4年・1807改訂本)の3種を合綴し、新たに『浄瑠璃早合点』との書名を付したもの。冒頭に位置する『音曲鼻けぬき』は、初版時の序題「音曲はなけぬき序」、および内題「音曲鼻けぬき」が、どちらも「浄瑠璃早合点」に改刻されている。結果、本書は全120丁におよぶ教則本となった。京・大坂・名古屋・兵庫と、三都を含む各地の書肆より刊行されていることから、稽古事として義太夫節に親しむ人々に、広く享受されたことがわかる。明治34年(1901)、竹中清音堂の同名再版本もあり。(田草川みずき)(2019.2)
