 書名は題簽による 刊記なし 1冊 10丁 大きさ24.0×18.0cm 綴葉装白色絹綴糸 雲母摺鼠色地松林波模様原装表紙 茶色唐紙刷題簽(10.9×3.1cm) 本文料紙具引雁皮紙 朱、薄紅、水色、黄の色替り料紙 無辺無界 字高18.5~20.0cm 半葉7行13字内外 漢字活字 連続平仮名活字 印記なし 古活字版『観世流謡本』(100冊揃)は、『光悦謡本』あるいは『嵯峨本謡本』とも称される。刊行には本阿弥光悦(1558~1637)や角倉素庵(1571~1632)などが関係しているといわれるが、刊行者のみならず雲母摺りや両面摺りの印刷方法なども含め、未詳の事柄が多い。装訂や版式から数種類に分類される。 本書は表紙に雲母摺模様、本文に色替り料紙が用いられていることから「色替り本」と通称されるものである。「色替り本」の刊年は節付けが元和6年(1620)に刊行された「元和卯月本」に近いことや、書風などから慶長末年頃とみられている。 謡曲「蟻通(ありどおし)」は世阿弥の作で、和泉国の蟻通明神と和歌の名人紀貫之との故事にちなんだ曲。
