Description
English: For more than five decades, NASA has used the unique vantage point of space to understand and explore our home planet, improve lives and safeguard our future. From Earth-observing satellites, airborne field campaigns, and basic research, NASA studies our planet’s dynamic environmental – oceans, ice sheets, forests and atmosphere – to pioneer new insights into how the complex Earth system works.
