Considered as the renaissance movement in modern Malayalam drama in 21st century through its unique style and form.The source script was written by prof. Narendra prasad . As Nooranad suku's any other works Murajapam also stands with an independent form and style with the signature of a director. The drama gifted two talented young Actors to Malayalam amateur drama field. Prem vinayak and Abhiraj sreedevi duo is appraised for their spectacular performance in more than 300 stages all over Kerala. Murajapam avoides the complex structure of abundant stage set ups, Light designs and even background Music and it solely depends on the acting talent of the actors. As the director says the 'Murajapam drama lives only on the acting talent of its duo actors '. The director and actors depends a wooden stool as their only stage property.The unique simpleness of Murajapam in style and presentation succesfully brought malayalam drama again to the lives of common people by incorporating it in their memorable events of life such as Birthday celebration, Marriage ceremony etc. |
