Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This one minute silent video demonstrates the setup for creating a motion control shot. The object of interest is the power plug of a 1960s tape machine. A DSLR camera circles that plug in a precise rotation. The camera with its pretty heavy lens sits firmly on a two part motion control unit, made by Edelkrone and financed by Wikimedia Germany. The top part ("HeadOne") and the base unit ("DollyOne") can be controlled and programmed individually. Motion control and programming is only possible via a WiFi connection with a smartphone and the generic Edelkrone app. Alternatively straight camera motions sideways or straight forward/back are possible. You can set key poses and adjust speed and ease in/out ad lib. Due to the precision of the movement the motion can be repeated, for example for placing other objects
