English: Morrison's supermarket, Strood. This new supermarket stands on Knight Road, across the Civic Centre access road from Matalan, B&Q etc. The propeller is from the 'Peewee', a merchant navy tug, launched December 1961, stationed in Gibralta for 5 years and decommissioned in 1995 - quite what it has to do with this part of Strood I don't know. |
