| Description |
English: Monument to the Unknown Dead. An estimated 2,000 soldiers died during the 1777-78 Valley Forge encampment, and are buried in unmarked graves. In 1911, the Daughters of the American Revolution erected this monument at the site of a burying ground, between Mount Joy and Wayne's Woods. |
