Rusco three notes, one against Clark Craudale of $9.50 - one against John R Barnes for $11.38 and one against Joel Scott for $9.50 making in the whole $30.38, which became due on the 1 Day of January last part and were given for 3 Ploughs & 3 Shares, to collect for them or if not collected to return them when called for - Bellona [illegible] 3 1824 - Martin Gage"
On back of document: “Rec’d of Martin Gage nineteen dollars and sixty eight cents being in full for the two within mentioned notes of R Barnes & Joel Scott principal and interest allowing the said Gage 7 pr Cent for collecting as follows – John R Barnes 11.38
