English: Marshall's Elm. This farm is at the crossroads of the ridge road that runs along the Poldens and the road that crosses from Somerton to Glastonbury. This is supposed to be the site of the first skirmish of the English Civil War. The parish and district boundary runs through the photograph; the farmhouse and caravan are in different parishes and districts. |
