| Description |
English: Marldon footpath 5 Taken from the stone stile over the wall at the edge of a thin band of woodland west of Marldon. Many of the fields here are surrounded by such strips, often copses. The field ahead is shown on the 1:25000 map as woodland, but it certainly hasn't been for the last 35 years at least. On the far side is Strainytor Copse, with Hazelwood Farm just visible.
The footpath here forms part of the John Musgrave Heritage Trail. |
