Summary
[edit]DescriptionMarco Arment - Timelapse over Hastings on Hudson (by).ogv |
My first timelapse video, testing out the EOS Utility from our apartment window before needing to use it "in production" over Christmas week. It runs from 3:25 AM to 5:34 PM, one shot per minute, played back at 12 FPS. The slight shift in framing at around 7:30 AM is when I had to swap the dead batteries in the grip. (Tip: Get the AC adapter for timelapse use.) In the foreground is the Hastings on Hudson Metro-North commuter train station. You can see the trains stopping just left of center, about a quarter up from the bottom. I like how rush hour is clearly evident by the drop-off/pick-up car traffic at the station plaza (bottom, near right). I should have kept it going longer, but the second pair of batteries was about to die, and we wanted to start using our kitchen lights again. |
