Due north is about 20 degrees right of vertical. Principal features: municipalities, roads, railroads, road names, mileages, Auto Club locations. Other prominent locations: Sawtelle, Beverly, Sherman, Palms, Culver City, Tropico, Eagle Rock, South Pasadena, Alhambra. Printed at the bottom is "Brown" and "484". Printed at the right, outside the map itself, is "49", and at the left "when roads are marked red indicates paved portion, blue unpaved portion".
