Svenska: Röd mantel med figur med stav 1935.32.0209. Paracastextil ur den så kallade Göteborgssamlingen. År 2021 överlämnades föremålet till Nationalmuseet i Peru för arkeologi, antropologi och historia.
Den här mantelns bård och mittendel är vävda olika tätt, men de broderade stygnen går över lika många trådar i tyget. Därför är de broderade figurerna olika stora på bården och på mittdelen. Beskrivning av motivet Människoliknande figur som ser ut att ha på sig tunika, ländkläde och turban. Ur turbanen sticker något som kan vara en kniv ut. Vingar sticker ut bakom ryggen, det kan vara en cape gjord av fjädrar. Figuren har band runt vristerna. I ena handen håller figuren en rak stav. I andra handen finns en stav med vass spets och två hängande föremål. Dessa föremål skulle kunna vara klockor eller bjällror som är avbildade samtidigt från sidan och underifrån. Figur nummer 7 i textil 1935.32.0179 (monter 4) bär på liknande föremål. I bården har alla figurer huvudet åt samma håll men varannan figur är spegelvänd. På mittendelen är de vända både uppåt och neråt och åt vänster och höger. Material och teknik Broderad med ullgarn på tyg vävt i tuskaft. Bårdens bottentyg är av bomull och mantelns bottentyg är av ylle. Broderiet är gjort i färgfältsstil och sytt med stjälkstygn. La tela de la franja de la orilla de este manto y la parte del centro están tejidas con diferente densidad, sin embargo, las puntadas del bordado pasan por encima del mismo número de hilos en ambas telas. Por esa razón, las figuras bordadas en la franja de la orilla y en el centro tienen tamaños diferentes. Descripción del motivo Figura antropomorfa que parece estar vestida con túnica, taparrabo y turbante. Del turbante sale algo que podría ser un cuchillo. Por detrás de la espalda se asoman alas. Podría tratarse de una capa hecha con plumas. La figura tiene cintas en los tobillos. En una mano sujeta un bastón recto y en la otra sostiene un bastón con punta aguzada y dos objetos que cuelgan. Esos objetos podrían ser campanillas o sonajas y se ven desde una perspectiva que es al mismo tiempo desde el lado y desde abajo. La figura número 7 del textil 1935.32.0179 (Vitrina xxx) tiene objetos semejantes. En la franja de la orilla las figuras tienen la cabeza puesta hacia una misma dirección, y se van alternando con figuras cuyas cabezas apuntan en la dirección contraria, como en espejo. En la parte central apuntan tanto hacia arriba como hacia abajo, o hacia la izquierda, o hacia la derecha. Material y técnica Bordado de lana sobre tela tejida a dos lizos. La tela de la franja de la orilla es de algodón y la tela de fondo del manto es de lana. El bordado está hecho en estilo de bloques de color con punto de tallo. The border and middle part of this mantle are woven with different thread counts, but the embroidered stitches cover equal numbers of threads in the fabric, with the result that the border and middle part have differently sized embroidered figures. Motif description Human-looking figure apparently wearing a tunic, loincloth and turban. There is an object, possibly a knife, projecting from the turban. Wings protruding behind the back may be a cape made of feathers. The figure has bands round its ankles. In one hand it holds a straight stave. In the other hand is a stave with a sharp point and two suspended objects. These latter could be bells or crotals depicted simultaneously from the side and beneath. Figure no. 7 in textile 1935.32.0179 (showcase 4) wears a similar article. All figures in the border have heads pointing in the same direction, but alternate figures are reversed. The ground weave of the border is cotton and that of the mantle is woollen. The embroidery is in stem-stitch in colour-field style.
