Summary
[edit]DescriptionManchester Museum 2023-12-02 (102).jpg |
The Dundee Wolf with painted teeth, taxidermied by Harry Ferris Brazenor (1863–1948). Its teeth were painted by him in a dramatic style in line with audience requirements of the 19th-century era. It should be said that this wolf is one of the museum's most popular exhibits, for the same reason, today. Note to editors: This specimen was photographed through glass, and the reflections are a necessary part of the composition.
