Description
Nederlands: Westelijke aanlanding van de Spoorwegbrug over de Maas in Maastricht, gezien vanaf de Biesenweg. Bruggehoofd uit 1856 in neogotische stijl met wapenschilden van diverse plaatsen. Gebouwd naar een ontwerp van de in 1854 afgezwaaide eerste luitenant-ingenieur der Genie Johan Arthur Kool (1816-1873) en uitgevoerd door de technisch opzichter en latere architect en minister ir. Johannes Grégoire van den Bergh. Fotocollectie HCL Maastricht, GAM 10864.
