Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Baroque church monument in the south transept of the Basilica of Saint Servatius in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The monument shows the portrait of a bishop held up by two putti (all in relief) and a sculpture of a female figure holding a cros and a chalice, sculpted by Denis-Georges Bayar in 1732. It represents the New Testament and was once placed at the choir entrance, along with a similar monument representing the OldTestament (now in the north transept).
