Description
Nederlands: Fragment van een Romeins sculptuur, gefotografeerd door de Franse archeoloog Émile Espérandieu in het Oudheidkundig Museum van Maastricht, een voorloper van het Bonnefantenmuseum, tot 1914 gevestigd in het Dinghuis. Het fragment komt niet voor in de catalogus van Romeins Maastricht en zijn beelden (Panhuysen, 1996). Op de achtergrond de zgn. gladiatorensteen.
Français : Fragment de tablette avec restes de deux bas-reliefs, dans des registres superposés ; En bas, tête de femme renversée en arrière, qui paraît dans des flots ou des flammes, et la main gauche ouverte d'un personnage disparu ; En haut, dans le second registre, le bras gauche nu, prenant appui sur le sol et quelques traces du vêtement d'un autre personnage vraisemblablement à demi couché ; Il ne s'agit sans doute pas de Narcisse.
