Description
English: Ledger stones in the south transept chapel of the Basilica of Our Lady in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The stone in front is of Petrus Lindanus († 12 June 1623), deacon of Our Lady and archdeacon of Hesbania, with a coat of arms in a circle and the Latin text: hic iacet sepvltvs r̄dvs admodvm dn̄' d petrvs lindanvs hvivs / insignis eccliae colligatae beatae / mariae virginis traiecten̄ dvm / viveret decanvs: necnon illustris / ac rd̄i d archidiaconi hasbaniae in / ecclia leod̄: officialis traiecti/constitvtvs qvi obyt die 12/ivny 1623 cvivs animae devs / sit propitivs amen.
