Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View of the so-called 'Kop van de Sphinx' buildings in Maastricht, Netherlands. These derelict factory buildings from the late 19th and early 20th century once belonged to Royal Sphinx potteries. In 2018 they are awaiting refurbishment as part of the redevelopment of Sphinxkwartier. The brick buildings are the Sanitairfabriek of 1916 (left), the taller Molengebouw of 1893/1918 (centre) and the Vormenmakerij of 1903 (right). In the background the white Eiffel building of 1929-41. The sliproad of Noorderbrug in the foreground was demolished in 2017.
