English: DV boundary formation in cultured wing disc. The mid-L2 wing disc, with associated trachea, was cultured for 16.5 hrs (about early-mid-L3). Sqh-mCherry (green) showed the appearance of the actomyosin cable at the DV boundary (arrow) at around 16 hr. ap-Gal4 driven nuclear GFP (ap>GFP.nls) (white) marked the dorsal compartment. The expression intensity gradually increased. The scale bar is 30 μm. |
