Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Little Early Inclosure. An 'inclosure' is an area of forestry that is fenced to keep the New Forest ponies and cattle out. Little Early is shown as open woodland on Thomas Milne's 1791 map of Hampshire, but following inclosure in 1809 it appears in C&J Greenwood's map of 1826 as part of the Burley New Inclosure. It has a mixture of original deciduous trees and more modern conifer plantation.
