English: Three different species of freely diffusing single molecules in buffer were imaged with 483.09 Hz and displayed with 30 Hz. On the left panel 500 kDa dextran molecules with an diffusion coefficient of Ddextran = 8.2 µm2/s are shown, in the center panel 43 kDa ovalbumin molecules with DOva = 88 µm2/s and on the right panel 30mer oligonucleotides with a D30mer = 130 µm2/s. The movies were filtered with a 3×3 Gauss kernel and contrast enhanced. Field of view for each panel is 19.2 µm×19.2 µm. |
