Italiano: EUTIROX è l'ormone tiroideo levotiroxina sodica (T4), perfettamente uguale a quello prodotto dalla ghiandola tiroidea. È ottenuto in laboratorio per via sintetica e si presenta in compresse. La T4 contenuta in Eutirox viene convertita nel nostro organismo nell'ormone triiodiotironina (T3), che regola numerose funzioni del metabolismo umano.
Eutirox si usa per trattare stati di ipotiroidismo come: gozzo, profilassi di recidive dopo strumectomia, ipofunzione tiroidea, flogosi della tiroide, in corso di terapia con antitiroidei.
English: EUTIROX is the thyroid hormone levothyroxine sodium (T4), perfectly equal to that produced by the thyroid gland. It is obtained synthetically in the laboratory and comes in tablets. The T4 contained in Eutirox is converted in our body into the hormone triiodothyronine (T3), which regulates numerous functions of human metabolism.
Eutirox is used to treat hypothyroid states such as: goiter, prophylaxis of relapses after strumectomy, thyroid hypofunction, thyroid inflammation, during therapy with antithyroid drugs. |
