Description
Français : Le Christ au jardin des oliviers. Après la Cène, Jésus se retire avec trois disciples, Pierre, Jacques et Jean au Mont des Oliviers ou de domaine de Gethsémani. S'éloignant d'eux et s'étant mis à genoux, il se mit à prier. Puis, il revint et trouva les disciples endormis. Miniature extraite du Livre d'heures de la Famille Des Fours. Notes : L'enluminure du manuscrit suit fidèlement les évangiles, plus particulièrement celui de saint Luc qui ajoute que la sueur qui perlait sur son visage ressemblait à des gouttes de sang !
