Summary

English: On July 2017 Trainose decides to cut down AEG dmus from Athens-Thessaloniki main line sevices and for first time change their base. So, the flagships of the hellenic railways officially end their career on main line IC services after 22 years (5car DMUs) on July 14th, 2017. After that, their base depot will be Thessaloniki and they will keep running on Thessaloniki-Alexandroupoli line. Here, AEG DMUs 520 258/254 and 520 156/256 on train IC58 Athens-Thessaloniki, wih the assistance of Bombardier 220 034 pushing from the rear, pass from Trilofo area. The railcars had a problem in 2 engines so the driver called from help in Tithorea (about 100km south of Trilofo).
