| Description |
English: Ladhope Recreation Ground. The name of the land on which Galashiels Golf Course stands. This was taken from the edge of the 15th fairway with rough and gorse ready to catch any wayward shots. This is on the top part of the course that closed on 2nd March 2008 (for an explanation, see 716199) with the 4th and 5th holes down in the valley in front of the plantation on Ladhope Moor. Buckholm Hill is to the left with William Law in the distance centre left. This is at the corner of the square. |
