| Description |
Deutsch: Auf halbem Weg von Neuhofen nach Pramersbuch auf der Höhe der Holzteile Brunnleite und Platte findet man das Roider Kreuz. Der Zimmerermeister Rudolf Roider aus Weichs hat das Kreuz hier an seinem Waldstück errichtet. Der Kreuzbalken, der nach unten mit einer quadratischen Metallhülse verlängert ist, steht auf einem massiven Betonsockel in Form eines kleinen Obelisken. Ein flaches Satteldach schützt das Kreuz vor der Witterung, ebenso wie die etwas ungewöhnliche Rückwand aus Kunststoff. Zu beiden Seiten wurden Birken gepflanzt.
Das zentrale kleine Kruzifix vom Dreinageltypus, wie man es eher aus der Wohnstube kennt, befindet sich als Aufdoppelung am Balkenkreuz. Der Standort des Kreuzes und die von diesem Punkt ausgehenden Wege bilden einen beliebten Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf gut begehbaren und weit verzweigten Wegen im Probsteiholz. Hier findet man neben weiteren Kreuzen und Marterln mit einer guten Karte und geschultem Blick auch bis zu 4000 Jahre alte Hügelgräber aus der Bronzezeit. Das Kreuz steht an der Verbindungsstraße SR 53 - DGF 42 von Neuhofen nach Pramersbuch aber noch auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Laberweinting, nur wenige Meter von der asphaltierten Straße entfernt am Waldweg. |
