| Description |
Deutsch: Der Waldarbeiter im Bayerischen-Forstdienst Konrad Stadler hatte 1979 einen schweren Unfall mit der Motorsäge. Aus Dank für seine Genesung wurde im Juni 1982 an der Straßengabelung, in der Nähe des Unfallortes ein Kreuz errichtet. Es befindet sich geografisch etwa in der Mitte zwischen Hofkirchen - Neuhofen - Haader und Asbach. Das Kreuz wurde am 20. Juni 1982 durch Bischöflich Geistlichen Rat Ludwig Maier eingeweiht.
Das Kreuz ist aus Holz gefertigt, auf der Rückseite verbrettert und mit einem spitzen Satteldach mit Holzschindeln gedeckt. Ein kleiner Balusterschrot bietet Platz für den Blumenschmuck. Der vielbeachtete und vieldiskutierte Spruch auf der ovalen Tafel lautet: "De Bam, d'Vogerl d'Hos'n und Reh preisen Dich Gott in der Höh." Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite ist unter einer schattenspendenden Buche eine Ruhebank aufgestellt, die von den zahlreichen Wanderern und Radfahrern gerne zur Rast genutzt wird. |
