Deutsch: Das Meindlkreuz, ist auch unter dem Hofnamen "Becker Michl Kreuz" bekannt. Es handelt sich um ein historisches Kreuz, das schon mehr als 100 Jahre dort steht. Bereits ein Bild des Haimelkofener Fotografen Ferdinand Pöschl um das Jahr 1910 zeigt das Kreuz zusammen mit einem Jäger. Seitdem sind das Kreuz und der aus Blech ausgeschnittene Korpus schon mehrfach restauriert worden. Auf dem historischen Bild ist unten am Kreuzbalken noch eine Darstellung der Mater Dolorosa zu erkennen. Heute hängt dort ein ovales Schild mit der Aufschrift "Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe" Eine einfache Bank lädt den Wanderer zur Rast und zum Gebet ein.
Wie kann man das Kreuz finden? Der alte Gemeindeverbindungsweg durch die Wälder besteht schon seit alters her. Er ist der Hauptweg eines weit verzweigten Wegenetzes, das nach Hofkirchen, Asbach, Neuhofen und Pramersbuch führt. Am Abschnitt zwischen dem Stadlerkreuz und der Kreuzung handelt es sich westlich um Staatswald, die Holzteile Wurzach und Buchetholz. Östlich liegen Privatwälder, im sogenannten Rotenfurt. Etwa 200 Meter vor der Wegkreuzung steht das Kreuz wenige Meter abseits auf der Ostseite des Wegs. |
