Description
Deutsch: In der Ortsmitte von Habelsbach, Gemeinde Laberweinting, an der Straße SR 52 steht das Kreuz am Fuße der Treppe zur Kirche. Auf dem Teilstück der Straße von Habelsbach nach Weingarten verläuft auch der von Radlern stark frequentierte Labertal Radweg. Das Kreuz in der Ortsmitte von Eitting wurde um das Jahr 2000 erneuert oder restauriert. Das Balkenkreuz ist ganz aus Holz gefertigt und mit einem Satteldach bedeckt. Die Rückseite ist mit Brettern eingeschlagen. Der geschnitzte Korpus entspicht dem romanischen Viernageltypus. Gleich neben dem Kreuz führt eine steile Steintreppe hoch zur Filialkirche St. Johannes dem Täufer.
