Deutsch: Das Kreuz steht an der Gemeindeverbindungsstraße Laberweinting - Ödwiesen auf der Anhöhe vor dem Huberhof. Von hier, auf dem Ödwieser Berg auf 431 Metern über dem Meer hat man einen schönen Ausblick über die Felder, die die alten Bezeichnungen Kreut, Kreutberg, Schatzgrube, Haaderer Berg und Ziegelberg tragen. Der Fernblick schweift weit über das Tal der kleinen Laber von der Kirche Mariä Opferung in Westen über das Kloster Mallersdorf nach Grafentraubach bis Laberweinting und Haader.
Das Kreuz wurde im Jahre 1973 von der Familie Huber Ödwiesen errichtet. Auch früher stand hier schon ein Feldkreuz. Auf einem Fundament und einem Steinsockel ist das Kreuzhäuschen auf einem verzierten, quadratischen Pfahl befestigt. Ein flaches, schindelgedecktes Satteldach mit geschweiften Giebelbrettern beherbergt das eigentliche Kruzifx. Ein kleiner Balkon bietet Platz für den Blumenschmuck. |
