English: Kyloe Road near Ridlees Cairn One of the roads which traverses the high moorland of the MOD Otterburn Training Area http://www.army.mod.uk/ate/public/otterburn.htm . The roads are open to the public when there is no live firing (about 60 days a year) http://www.northumberlandnationalpark.org.uk/visiting/countrysideaccess/otterburntrainingarea.htm . The road off to the right leads to the target area which is permanently off-limits to the public. |
