| Description |
English: Kielderhead National Nature Reserve The headwaters of the Carry Burn, an area of moorland surrounded by forestry and no longer grazed (other than by deer and feral goats). There appears to be no moorland management, certainly no burning or road building. The heather is thriving. Plenty of grouse too. |
