| Description |
English: Kesteven extension, Hundred Fen, Pointon, Lincs. The Kesteven-Holland former county boundary largely follows the South Forty Foot Drain in these parts (constructed in the late 1760s). http://www.blacksluiceidb.gov.uk/history.html However, a finger of Kesteven curiously extends eastwards across the drain into Hundred Fen and is within the parish of Pointon and Sempringham; viewed here from Long Drove. |
