Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Small radially oriented patches of thickened Keratin squames are often seen on the lateral surface of the tympanic membrane. These patches consist of older and thicker keratin from the central portion of the tympanic membrane, which has migrated centrifugally. These keratin patches become more prominent when moistened and are consequently more easily seen after swimming.
