Summary
[edit]DescriptionKenricks, Hambleden, Buckinghamshire-geograph-3344082.jpg |
English: Kenricks, Hambleden. Splendidly sited on the wooded slopes of a hill. The house itself is quite plain and dignified. The parapet slopes up in the centre and is topped by ball finials aligned with giant pilasters. It was built in 1724 as the rectory for the Reverend Scawen Kenrick. No architect has been identified so it may well have been the work of the bricklayer, Peter Norton of Marlow. Grade II* listed. The date of the photo is uncertain, as is the photographer's location. |
