Nederlands: Batterij van vier stukken voormalig marinegeschut geschut van 3,7 cm. op veldaffuiten van buizen, te Gianjar tijdens de, tegen de vorst van Badoeng gerichte, zevende Bali-expeditie. Van de twee mannen die achteraan staan is de linker kapitein E. van Thiel, commandant der artillerie op de Bali-expeditie. Van de vier militairen die achter het linker kanon staan, is de meest meeste linkse 1e luitenant A.F.A. Hoog en de meest rechtse 1e luitenant M. Boerstra, de latere commandant van het KNIL

Nederlands: Bijzonderheden: Indische reisherinneringen / door H.M. van Weede. - Haarlem : Tjeenk Willink, 1908 Op achterzijde in inkt: Bali-Expeditie 11 Sept - 31 Oct 1906, Gianjar October 1906. Behoort bij fotonummer 43219, waar de batterij is gedemonteerd. Foto mogelijk door Kurkdjian, die deelnam aan de Bali-Expeditie, zie Eigen Haard 1906, p. 799. De geposeerde symmetrische compositie werd door Kurkdjian gebruikt en verraadt een meer professionele fotograaf dan Van Weede. Het afwijkend formaat van de daglichtafdrukken ten opzichte van de foto's van Van Weede in album 3, wijst er ook op dat de foto niet van hem afkomstig is
