  • Biographical/historical: Possibly an early state of an etching attributed to engraver Pierre-Gabriel Berthault after Jean Duplessi-Bertaux, titled Fête a l'Etre suprême: le 8 juin 1794, ou 20 prairial an 2.eme de la République. The version held by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France has a darker sky, with clouds, and more shading of the buildings.
