Description
Deutsch: Maximumtriebwagen 20, Typ 24 der Leipziger Außenbahn bei der Rückkehr auf das Museumsgelände. Lyrastromabnehmer wurden im Planbetrieb in Leipzig nie benutzt, doch die Fahrleitung ermöglicht seit der Umstellung Ende der 1920er Jahre keinen sicheren Fahrbetrieb mit Rollenstromabnehmern mehr. Die Lyrastromabnehmer sind damit ein Kompromiss, um mit den Museumswagen überhaupt einen Fahrbetrieb durchführen zu können. Kurze Rangierfahrten sind mit der nötigen Vorsicht auch möglich, ohne den Lyrabügel zu wenden, zumal es im Leipziger Netz ohnehin keine Umlegestellen mit höherer Fahrdrahtlage gibt. Die Leipziger Lyrabügel sind dafür jedoch drehbar.
Links neben dem Triebwagen steht der Beiwagen 285, Typ 55II, bis 1996 als Gartenlaube genutzt und für das Jubiläum »100 Jahre elektrischer Straßenbahnbetrieb« in Leipzig geborgen.
