Transcript InfoField | English: On front of document: “Troy 8th Septm 1825 RP Hunt Esteemed Friend I Recvd on the 2d [Inst?] from canal boat Major Bellows Capt Cornelius C Vanness [70?] bbls flour 50 bbls wheat & 2 Tierces of Hay Seed for thy acct which is now Going on board Sloop Minerva Capt Comstock for New York & not Having any Instructions Respecting the delivery of the propperty or to whoom can send – therefore be So obliging as to Inform me on the Subject by Return mail – I am shipping 1600 bushels of wheat in the Minerva & for sale – If thee wishes the 50 bbls sold with it – thee will please Direct accordingly – & If sold who to pay the proceeds to—our Market for Grains Remain Very Dull – yet there has been a small advance in the articles of wheat & corn particularly in the Latter – which is now worth 4/6 to 4/9 – the Former is Selling at 7/ & 7/3 – in Small [Peccals] & from 7/3 to 7/6 by the boat Load of the Very best of western wheat I am very Respectfully thy assured Friend Isaac Merritt.” On back of document: "I.
