Description
Nederlands: Voor het vierde jaar op rij roepen de DrugLijn en Stichting tegen Kanker op om een maand lang "nee" te zeggen tegen alcohol en te kiezen voor alcoholvrije initiatieven. En toch... is dat écht een goed idee? De media en wetenschappers wijzen alcohol niet altijd radicaal af. De ene week lezen we in de krant dat wetenschappers zeggen dat één glas rode wijn per dag gezond is, want goed voor hart- en de bloedvaten. De week erop lezen we dat elke druppel alcohol er één te veel is. Wat moeten we nog geloven? En vanwaar komen deze tegenstrijdige onderzoeksresultaten? Toxicologe Vera Rogiers (VUB) vertelt in Wat Zegt De Wetenschap voor eens en voor altijd hoe dat zit met al die onderzoeken en wat ervan aan is. Is één glas rode wijn per dag gezond?
