Description
English: Bi-directional transport of MPyV virions along microtubules. 3T6 cells expressing EGFP-tubulin (green) were infected with fluorescently labeled MPyV (red) at 37°C and analyzed by time-lapse fluorescence microscopy. Virions were transported in both directions: towards the nucleus (left) and to the cell periphery (right). Images were taken with intervals of 3 seconds. Video sequences were obtained using an Olympus IX81 CellR microscope.
