Summary

[edit]
Description
English: While the Senate debates and amends the annual war supplemental funding bill, Senator Daniel Inouye -- a World War II veteran and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient -- reflected upon his own military service. Inouye compared his experience in World War II with the wars going on today. Now is not the time to cut defense spending, argues Inouye. "If anything, we ought to show appreciation and gratitude. We shouldn't be cutting. We should be helping."
