Description
English: Title: Incontro diplomatico

Abstract: Italian political cartoon shows Otto von Bismarck and Gyula Andrássy with rockets labeled "Bismark" and "Andrassy" under their arms, shooting over rooftops on a collision course across a night sky filled with stars labeled "Agenzie Giron'listi", with Saturn at top center as a human head with ring labeled "Gorciakoff" (i.e., Gorchakov). The flames from Bismarck's rockets are labeled "Supremazia Germanica Conservatori" and the flames from Andrássy's rockets are labeled "Militarismo Integrità Dell' Impero". From windows and chimneys, newspaper readers and journalists, with long noses, follow the rockets across the sky; on the far left is a man with a telescope who may represent France. Printed on the walls of two of the buildings are "Fanatici Politic" and "Letor di Giornall". Physical description: 1 print : chromolithograph ; sheet 41.7 x 59.7 cm.
