English: Sequential activation of the delayed Ca 2+ -response in the MB lobes. The nicotine induced delayed secondary response in the MB lobes occurs sequentially, first, in the α'/β' lobes, second, in γ lobes, and finally in α/β lobes. Each frame represents 60 s of light accumulation and is shifted by 10 s (12 frames/s). The movie is seen 120 times faster. The light emission (photons/pixel) is coded in pseudocolors (2-10 photons/pixel) (QuickTime; 1328 Ko).
