[edit]DescriptionIllusory-Motion-and-Mislocalization-of-Temporally-Offset-Target-in-Apparent-Motion-Display-42346 Hidaka Movie1.ogv |
English: The basic phenomenon of illusory motion perception for a temporally offset target in an apparent motion (AM) display. Please see a white square blinking at a lower position while fixating on the black rings. Whereas the square will be perceived as static without AM at the first sequence, the square will then appear to move to the left or right when AM is presented. The direction of illusory motion of the target will be in counter-phase with that of AM. |
