[edit]DescriptionIcomb Trophies - geograph.org.uk - 1597856.jpg |
English: Icomb Trophies On the wall of the village hall in Icomb is a record of the village's success in the Bledisloe Cup competition for best kept village. The award was instigated by Lord Bledisloe (Sir Charles Bathurst) in Gloucestershire in 1937. He also presented a cup for competition between Australia and New Zealand at rugby union. The question of which competition is the harder remains unanswered. |
