English: The silver-white, flexible metal is very rare. It is a fall-out that is generated when zinc or lead is exploited and is important for modern energy-efficient electronic devices. Currently this element is mostly used as indium tin oxide (ITO) and is thereby processed as a transparent conductor for touchscreens, TFT and LED displays or photovoltaic power plants. |
