English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The winter is here: overview of the ice fun and ice troubles that go along with it and the funny solutions some have for ice troubles. - Several shots of beginning and experienced skaters on ice in nature as well as ice rinks; children throw snowballs; others go cross-country skiing; people (including children) ride sleds or go ice sailing; - ducks have a hard time walking around and near the ice; a child was hit by too many snowballs and cries; because of the slippery road a car hit a tree; a cyclist falls; - a pedestrian falls when he leaves his house; the pedestrian goes back inside and comes back with a bag of sand (?) in his hands; he is on his way and puts a hand of sand (?) in front of him before he takes a ste; a group of pedestrians follows his footsteps, literally.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
De winter is ingevallen: overzicht van de daarmee gepaard gaande ijspret en ijsnarigheid en de door sommigen bedachte humoristische oplossingen voor de ijsnarigheid. - Div. shots van beginnende en geroutineerde schaatsers zowel op natuurijs als op ijsbanen; kinderen gooien sneeuwballen; anderen gaan langlaufen op ski's; mensen (ook kinderen) sleeën of doen aan ijszeilen; - eenden scharrelen moeizaam rond en bij het ijs; een kind heeft teveel sneeuwballen moeten opvangen en huilt; door de gladheid is een auto geslipt en tegen een boom gebotst; een fietser gaat onderuit; - een voetganger gaat onderuit bij het verlaten van zijn huis; de voetganger gaat terug naar binnen en keert terug met een zak zand(?) in de hand; hij gaat op weg en strooit voor iedere te zetten voetstap één handje zand(?) voor zich uit; een groep andere voetgangers volgt hem - letterlijk - op de voet.
