English: The «back side», south facade of The Main building(=Hovedbygningen ) at what is now known as Campus NTNU Gløshaugen, Trondheim. Architect: Bredo Greve. Architect for the latest addition, the one-storey extension shown in the photo: Finn Berner, 1948–1950. The building was originally erected for The Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH) and opened in 1910
Norsk bokmål: Hovedbygningen på campus NTNU Gløshaugen, Trondheim. Bygningen ble opprinnelig oppført for NTH. Nest siste utbygging av bygningen, én etasjes utvidelse med fløyer mot øst og vest, er tegnet av arkitekt Finn Berner (oppført 1948–1950). Taket på den bakerste delen av midtfløyen ble hevet noe i 1963 (ark. Karl Grevstad), for å gi plass til to etasjer kontorer for biblioteket, der det før var et auditorium. |
